Graduation coming soon? Ready to celebrate all of your hard work?? Here are two tips to help you make the most out of your upcoming senior photoshoot on Oahu!
I love to think of a senior photoshoot as storytelling. We get to share not only what you look like now, but also what you have accomplished throughout your entire life up to this point! Bringing meaningful props is a great way to tell your story, without using any words. Did you play football? Then bring your jersey and lucky ball! Were you a state champion wrestler? You know I want to see those metals and trophies! Were you in the advanced chamber choir? Let’s make sure that your musical letterman’s jacket makes it to our shoot. The possibilities are endless, even if you weren’t on a team or in an arts group! You could also bring your favorite textbook, some florals or a lei, or a banner with your graduation year on it. And don’t forget to grab that cap and gown!
Now this is something that not a lot of people think about, but when my clients ask to add a few family photos into their graduation shoot, I get SO excited! For most people, family plays an extremely important roll as high schoolers prepare for graduation. With their support, help, and love, we can all find a success a little easier. So, as you plan your graduation shoot, make sure to invite your family along, because your graduation is, after all, a milestone for them too!
If you need any help planning your Oahu graduation photoshoot, I will be there to help you every step of the way! From planning your perfect outfits to finding the best florist to order a lei from, I can’t wait to turn this milestone photoshoot into your dream come true!
