There are some weddings that I come home from absolutely energized. Kylie and Chance’s local oahu wedding was one of those. Even after a 12 hour day, first look at 6 am and a reception that ended just after sunset, I didn’t feel the slightest bit tired! And I think it all comes from planning unique and FUN activities into their day, things that most weddings don’t have. Here, let me show you!
As a gift for the newlyweds, the groom’s family had rented a car for them to drive from their Laie Temple Sealing to their backyard wedding reception. Chance’s dream car, a red Farrari, was not only a lot to drive around, but it also gave them some alone time to savor their wedding day and their newly exchanged promises to each other!
Trust me, this will be fun for kids and adults alike! I loved taking Kylie and Chance over to their bounce house near the beginning of their reception. As soon as they had entered the bounce house, any tension or stress immediately left their bodies. Although this moment went by far too quickly, it elevated their moods and gave them the boost they needed to prepare for the next moments of their wedding day.
As Kylie shared her special training in and love for hula, her reception tent filled with “cheehu”s as everyone around her started to throw money and her groom joined in the background. This special moment brought so much love into their reception, there wasn’t a face without a smile in their whole backyard!
Thank you, Kylie & Chance, for letting me be a part of your Laie Temple wedding day!
