Their three-day destination wedding to Oahu, Hawaii was filled with laughter and fun from the beginning of their rainy day couples photoshoot all the way to the end of their dazzling sparkler exit.
We started off the week at Kualoa Ranch, to celebrate the beginning of their wedding journey. Just four weeks before their Oahu wedding, Chyna texted me a photo of her dress for the couples photoshoot. When I saw it, my jaw dropped! It was bold, it was big and it was RED. “I want the photos at Kualoa to be dramatic,” she said in her message. I would definitely say we achieved that goal, wouldn’t you?
Day two of Chyna and Andrews wedding included two beautiful cultural ceremonies, a Chinese Tea Ceremony and a Korean Ceremony, and “door games.” Arriving early to the venue, I was lucky enough to witness the set up of these incredible ceremonies! The evening was rich in culture, and full of fun, as Andrew had to prove his “manliness,” and earn the approval of Chyna’s friends.
Day three, the fullest and most exciting of all, was hosted at Sunset Ranch in Haleiwa Hawaii. Capturing every last detail of Chyna and Andrews day kept me on my toes, as I hurried danced between getting ready rooms, to the different dining and celebratory venues, and, of course, the ceremony itself.
With a close friend as their officiant, these beautiful words were shared:
“Those that truly love each other have roots that grow towards each other, under the ground, and when all pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree, not two.”
Congratulations, Chyna and Andrew, on your beautiful wedding and thank you for letting me celebrate with you! It was an absolute honor, and I hope to see you again soon.
How did she like it?
